Cholera Epidemic in the Cove

Cholera infantum was epidemic among the children in Henrietta. Two victims who died from the disease were the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Weyandt and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kauffman.
Also, in four days, four young children in the Williamsburg area died. They were the infant child of Andrew Lantzer; Willie, son of Frank P. Lantzer; the infant son of Robert Patterson; and the infant child of Elmer Miller. It was not known whether the deaths in the Williamsburg area were related to the cholera epidemic.
