WILLIAM G. ‘BILL’ DECKER
William G. “Bill” Decker, 61, of Roaring Spring, passed away on Friday evening, June 14, 2019, at home, following an extended illness.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing and a celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Bill was born on Feb. 5, 1958, in Roaring Spring, the son of the late Eugene L. and Mildred (Teeter) Decker.
He was married to Kimberly (Bowers) Decker for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife; two children: Alison V. Decker of Florida and Benjamin R. Decker of Pittsburgh; five siblings: Darla Shaw (the late Barry Shaw), Annie Kurtz (Lemon), Wilma Hengst (Donald), Robert Decker (Kathy) and Fred Decker (Jean); and all his nieces and nephews.
Bill was a 1976 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and a graduate of Penn State University.
He had a 25-year career as a Blair County Probation Officer.
He enjoyed being outdoors and his evenings with friends and family.
