Three Share Top Spot at C-K

Three students will share valedictorian status at Claysburg-Kimmel High School this year. Tying for the top spot in the Class of 1994 are Gavin Claycomb, Bonnie Nesselroad and Kelli O’Harrow.
Central High School has named Jessica Lynn Keith as valedictorian and Angela Heltzel as salutatorian of the graduating class.
Dalton John Troutman, son of Darrin and Suzette Troutman of Hopewell RD 1, was the first baby born at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, in June. Dalton was born at 3:32 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 1994.
The New Enterprise Church of the Brethren will hold an installation service for the Rev. Earl Stovall as full-time pastor of the church during the morning worship service on Sunday, June 12.
The Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs captured their first District 6-AA girls’ softball championship in convincing fashion, dropping Conemaugh Valley, 17-5, on June 2 at Hollidaysburg. In the first round of the PIAA state playoffs, the Lady Bulldogs outslugged District 5 champion Southern Fulton, 15-10.
