The Williamsburg Community School District is set to present 34 graduating seniors their diplomas during festivities beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the high school gym.
Baccalaureate exercises will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
The senior awards ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, in the high school auditorium.
Student speakers will be the class officers: President Gavin Keith, Vice President Chandler Edwards, Secretary Caitlyn Kensinger and Treasurer Morgan Clouser.
During commencement, Michael Jones, secondary principal, will announce the valedictorian and salutatorian.
The class honors students will then be recognized and receive gold braids for their academic efforts.
Superintendent Lisa Murgas and school board President Dr. Barry England will then present diplomas to the graduates.
The 2019 class song is "Send Me on My Way" by Rustic Root. The class flower is the White Rose, the colors are Blue, Silver and Black and the class's chosen motto is, "Tomorrow is the mirror for what we accomplish today."
