Power Line Going Up

The conductor cables being stretched along the power line right-of-way through Morrisons Cove will transmit electrical power from a new mine-mouth generating station near Johnstown to the Atlantic seaboard. The high voltage line is being stretched into place by approximately 60 employees of T. F. Jackson, Inc., of Long Island, N. Y. A large number of the employees are residing in the Morrisons Cove area. In all, six two-inch cables plus two smaller wires are being hoisted to the steel towers.
