Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
Tradition accompanied by perfect weather prevailed for the Hollidaysburg Area High School (HAHS) Prom on Friday, May 24.
School dismissed early for the entire district while senior high students and their guests spent the day preparing for this annual rite of passage that many have been planning since January.
As is tradition at HAHS, the prom-goers take pictures with family and friends at home before venturing off to other photogenic spots. In the past, Legion Park was the place. Now, other beautiful venues including Canal Basin and Chimney Rocks parks are popular. From there, prom-goers go out for dinner then off to the The Casino at Lakemont for the prom.
