The Taylor Township supervisors’ May 6 meeting opened with a resident who is concerned about the township’s plan to vacate Papermill Road.
He asked who would maintain and plow the road. Papermill Road has three residents, two private homes and the Roaring Spring Borough Sewer Plant.
Taylor solicitor David Pertile explained that the road would remain as is and become a private drive. The owners of property accessed by this road would be responsible for plowing and upkeep.
