The Monday, May 20, Spring Cove School Board meeting was moving along rapidly until the motion to adopt the proposed General Fund Budget for the school year ending 2020 in the amount of $27,988,089 came up on the agenda.
A long discussion and differing view points from the school board members occurred at this point.
The proposed budget represented an increase in the budget of approximately .3426 mills, according to Spring Cove Business Manager Kathy Hazenstab.
