Burglary

State Police, Hollidaysburg, are investigating a theft that occurred along 167 Acres Lane, Taylor Township, Blair County, sometime between April 9 and April 10. According to police, someone stole a Stihl chainsaw valued at $200, a Stihl weed trimmer valued at $200, a fishing rod and fishing tackle valued at $100.

DUI

State Police, Bedford, have charged Noris Preis, 33, of Claysburg with driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance along Landmark Road and Business Route 220, Bedford Township, on April 12.

DUI

Marisa Brumbaugh, 22, of Roaring Spring, was charged by Hollidaysburg State Police with driving under the influence along State Route 876 and Emeigh Lane, Taylor Township, on March 7.

Theft by Deception

State Police, Bedford, are investigating the theft of $1,390 from a Martinsburg woman. Police said that on May 13, the victim was attempting to obtain a personal loan when an unknown actor from an unknown location contacted her as a representative from the company offering the loan. The unknown actor then contacted her back and advised her they had sent too much money and needed her to send the excess back in Google Play gift cards.

Drug Possession

State Police, Hollidaysburg, have charged Angela Burkey, 40, of Alum Bank, with drug possession. On May, 3, police were called to a two-vehicle crash at Polecat Road and Dunnings Highway, Greenfield Township, During the crash investigation, police found marijuana and related paraphernalia in Burkey’s vehicle.

Theft

State Police, Hollidaysburg, are investigating the theft of a wheeled stand for an aluminum brake from a construction site along Plum Creek Road, Roaring Spring, Blair County, sometime between May 7 and May 8. Police believe the actor was operating a loud ATV of unknown make or color. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 696-6100.
