Health, Welfare Council to Meet

The Blair County Health and Welfare Council will meet from 8:30 to 10 a.m. May 17, at The Arc of Blair County.

This will be the annual year-end meeting of the council, so there will be no guest speaker. The budget and the officers will be reviewed for the next year. Checks will also be presented to this year’s grant recipients.

The Health and Welfare Council is in search of officers to serve for the next year. Those interested in serving as an officer, should attend the meeting. The Blair County Health and Welfare Council provides education and information to the public on health and human service needs, services and resources.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
