Street work around the square in Martinsburg is continuing this week with paving to be finished by Monday, weather permitting. IA Construction of Concordville, Delaware County, is under contract with PennDOT for the work, which included widening of Allegheny and Market streets, new storm drains, new curbs and sidewalks and a new traffic signal system. The project, which is costing the state about $100,000, is part of a $1.8 million contract that included work in Logan Township, Altoona and Bald Eagle.
