The Cove Cause for Cancer organization has planned a black-tie affair for Saturday, July 13, at the Bistro at the Village Green, Martinsburg.
“A Mid Summer’s Night” will be the theme for the dress-to-impress event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to gather and mingle from 6 to 6:45 p.m. There will be a cheese, meat, veggie, cracker and fruit table. There will be a large ticket item silent auction. There will be many large items to bid on.
A formal sit-down dinner will follow from 7 to 8 p.m. The menu will consist of summer salad with strawberries, Mandarin oranges in a champagne vinaigrette dressing, rolls with whipped butter, honey Rosemary chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and chef's fresh vegetable. Tuxedo cheesecake will be the dessert.
There will be mingling and dancing from 8 to 10 p.m.
Tickets are on sale at Roots in the Cove and Hair Care Specialist. There are only 120 tickets for this event, so you will need to get them quick.

The July 13 event will lead up to the organization’s big “Party at the Park” event on Saturday, Aug. 17.
