Northern Bedford County School District High School Track Re-surfacing
Northern Bedford School District will receive bids for work related to the re-surfacing of the Track at Northern Bedford County High School, located at 152 NBC Drive, Loysburg PA 16659. A mandatory meeting for the bidders is set for May 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the District Office.
Bids shall be accompanied by a 10% Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Treasure’s Check, or Bid Bond, naming as the oblige Northern Bedford County School District. Prospective bidders are advised that this project is subject to and will be governed by provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Huston Township will consider an Ordinance related to cleanup costs for petroleum, chemical or hazardous substances at its regular meeting to be held in the Township Municipal Building, 1230 Piney Creek Road, Martinsburg, PA 16662, on May 9, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. A summary of such Ordinance is a follows:
an ordinance of the township of huston, blair county, pennsylvania, providing for the payment for special equipment and/or cleanup and/or materials and labor and/or apparatus used to control and/or extinguish petroleum type or chemical or hazardous material or substance, spills, fires or leaks and/or accidents which occur in the township of huston; and delegating authority to the martinsburg volunteer fire company no. 1 and williamsburg volunteer fore company no. 1 for performance of the foregoing on behalf of the township of huston and collection of the costs.

Sealed Bids for the Roaring Spring Municipal Authority's proposed Water System SCADA System upgrade project will be received at the Authority office at 616 Spang Street, Roaring Spring, PA 16673, until 2:00/pm, local time on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes Providing Electrical Engineering, Drawings, PLC and Radio programming, Installation, startup and material to add two (2) tank level transducers with readout and alarming at the Maintenance Building and replace the existing Aquatrol at the pumping station and add a radio and appurtenances to transmit and receive data at the Maintenance Building,
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Keller Engineers, Inc., 420 Allegheny Street, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office or the office of the Authority described above on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a deposit of $75.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 10 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund.
