The Central Pennsylvania Bible Conference will conduct the 2019 Spring Session on Saturday, April 27, & Sunday, April 28, at The Faith Baptist Church, Altoona.
The special guest for this session will be Dr. Don Wyrtzen, internationally known musician and statesman, son of Dr. Jack Wyrtzen, the founder of Word of Life Ministries in Schroon Lake, New York. Don has traveled the world as a preacher, a singer and a teacher and has been used of God to teach people how worship in music form the biblical basis.
Wyrtzen has become recognized as one of the leading musicians and statesmen in Christian music. He is referred to as a “poet of the piano,” and is known for his virtuoso playing and improvisational ability.
The focus of this conference is going to be on the “Biblical Concept of Music.” Dr. Wyrtzen will share at the following sessions:
“From Old-Fashioned Hymns to Praise Choruses” – 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27
“Getting Our Answers from Culture Instead of Scripture” – 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27
“Sacred Piano Concert” – 7 p.m. Saturday, April 27
“Music and God’s Glory” – 9:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28
“Music and God’s Supernatural Power” – 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28
