NPC Inc. was recently recognized as an outstanding partner from the business sector that has contributed to the success of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda on the local, state and/or national levels.
Chapters from across Pennsylvania nominate business organizations based on criteria established by Pennsylvania FBLA. The members of Claysburg-Kimmel FBLA nominated NPC Inc. and the company was chosen as the recipient for the 2018-19 school year.
Sherri Steward and Brian White represented NPC Inc. and accepted the Pennsylvania FBLA Business Partnership of the Year award at the 68th Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference held April 7 through April 10 in Hershey. They also participated as state judges in competitive events at the conference and were event sponsors of the Awards of Excellence program.
For the past 15 years, NPC Inc. has been a valued sponsor of FBLA activities and FBLA is proud to have a strong business partnership with them. This organization has provided valuable programs, education and financial support for FBLA on the local and state levels.
NPC Inc. provides tours of its impressive facilities, offers community service opportunities and offers employment opportunities for FBLA members after the school day ends. In addition to giving to school districts and FBLA, NPC Inc. also contributes to many youth outreach initiatives that provide food, shelter, safety and support to students outside of the school environment.
This organization is No. 1on the Government Publishing Office's Top 50 Contractors list and its owner and chairman of the board has been listed among Pennsylvania Business Central's Top 100 People.
