The Northern Bedford Panthers’ baseball team improved to 4-3 overall with a 7-6 victory against visiting Tussey Mountain on April 11.
In a back-and-forth game, the Panthers squeezed out the victory in eight innings.
NB trailed 2-0 and 5-2 and before rallying for a 6-5 lead through six innings. With its backs to the wall, Tussey Mountain answered with a run in the top of the seventh inning. The Panthers then closed out the game in the eighth.
Luke Wiedemann doubled twice among his three hits and scored twice for NB. Colby Imler had two base hits and two RBIs.
