David O. and Terella Sue Rice of Clover Creek were named the Outstanding Cooperator of 1994-95 by Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association. The Rices were selected for the honor from 16 dairy farmers, mostly couples, who were selected as this year’s “Young Cooperatives” from the co-op’s membership of 1,300 members Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. Rice operate a 126-acre dairy farm with 58 tillable acres. They have 54 head of registered Holsteins and are milking 44 at present. They have been farming on the form...
