The new Spring Cove Elementary School is on schedule, according to Rodney Green, district superintendent. Some areas of the new building along Route 164 just east on Roaring Spring are ahead of schedule.

The “substantial completion” date for the 18-month construction project is June 26 and the “final completion” is at end of July.

The building construction cost is $14,811,856. Adding the more than $1 million design fee, cost of permits, financing and legal fees, the total project cost is $18,198.902.
