Ask the Williamsburgers

With our ever-changing weather, people say, “I’d rather live someplace sunny and warm.” I decided to ask the residents of Williamsburg – If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

Polly Smith: Williamsburg – I feel safe here and I love it here.

Cynthia Kolodziej: Philippines

Tamara Hansen: I have been thinking about that recently. I really like Europe.

Maureen England: Australia or New Zealand

Ruth Hoffner: South Carolina to be with my son, Kreg

Huston Godwin: New England

Donna Gibson: On my own island with lots of food, comfort, pets, perfect weather year-round and no taxes … only in my dreams.

Stan Grove: Alaska

Phillip Irvin: Key West, Florida

David Black: Montana

Paula Hamilton: Aruba, the weather and climate are always the same and it’s so peaceful and quiet.

Pat Adams: OBX! Just came back from there.

Jill Norris: Right here. I’ve been all over this nation and there’s nothing like driving or flying into our valley. I’ve seen many beautiful places but there is no place like home.

My sister, Julie and I were talking about this question as we were eating dinner. She says that she would like to live in Santorini, Greece and I agreed with her but also Bora Bora. Someplace warm!
