Northern Bedford’s boys’ basketball team fell to Berlin Brothersvalley 82-44 on Senior Night on Feb. 14.
The Mountaineers bombed the Panthers with nine treys in the first half en route to a 48-19 halftime lead.
“They were hot out of the gate and we were never in the game,” Northern Bedford coach Shawn Hicks said.
Caleb Diehl’s 19 points led the Panthers who were celebrating senior night. Seniors Bentley Zimmerman and Franklin Foor were honored.

Northern Bedford struggled with a young squad most of the season but finished on a high note with a huge 63-24 home win on Friday night, Feb. 15.
“Overall it was a great effort tonight to finish the season,” NB head coach Shawn Hicks said.
The Panthers jumped out to a big 27-11 halftime lead and really poured it on in the third, taking a 46-19 lead and allowing Hicks to play everyone in the 2019 season finale.
Northern Bedford shot an amazing 18-for-19 from the charity stripe. Dalton Smith (20 points) and Caleb Diehl (12) paced the Panthers, who finished 3-18.
