Alice Diane (England) Warren, 76, passed from this world on Wednesday morning, Feb. 13, 2019, at Johnston-Willis Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Williamsburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Pastor Paul R. Campbell will officiate.
Interment will follow at Yellow Springs Lutheran Cemetery, Williamsburg RR.
Diane was born on April 20, 1942, in Newport, Rhode Island, daughter of the late Foster W. and Frances C. (née Saylor) England.
She married Henry S. Warren Jr. on June 4, 1966, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsburg, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2018.
Surviving are her two children. Henry S. Warren III is married to Kellie Bryte (née Holder) Warren, and they have three children: Jacob, W. Aiden and Ava. Her daughter Julie is married to Paul Butler, and they have two children: Alex and Robert.
Also surviving are her brothers William England (Bertha), Barry England (Diane), Frederick England (Cindy) and Gordon England and sister-in-law Patricia England.
She was preceded in death by her brother Stanley England.
Raised in Williamsburg, she was a 1960 graduate of Williamsburg High School and a 1963 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.
After marrying, she lived in Yorktown, New York, for 42 years and worked as a medical technologist at White Plains Hospital for many of those years before moving to Stafford, Virginia, in 2015.
She remained a lifelong Penn State football fan.
