Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
Area libraries launched a new partnership recently with the cloudLibrary app.
Now patrons can discover new content, borrow all their favorites and save future reads with cloudLibrary. They can read or listen to e-books and e-audiobooks on the go, at home or in the library. Blair County Library System now offers thousands of popular e-books and e-audiobooks through the cloudLibrary digital lending platform.
Offered at no cost to patrons, all that’s needed to get started is an active library card. Martinsburg, Roaring Spring, Claysburg and Williamsburg libraries’ e-book and e-audiobook collection includes popular titles from all of the favorite authors. The app is available in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Kindle Fire App Store. Alternatively, patrons can also install the Windows, Chromebook or Apple desktop applications. The cloudLibrary app is compatible with the following devices: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android Phones, Android Tablets, NOOK Tablets, NOOK eReaders, Kobo eReaders and Kindle Fires.
CloudLibrary is available through a partnership that area libraries have with the Altoona District libraries, and is available to card holders at all Blair, Bedford and Huntingdon County libraries. This includes the Altoona, Bellwood-Antis, Claysburg, Hollidaysburg, Martinsburg, Roaring Spring, Tyrone-Snyder, Williamsburg, Bedford, Saxton, Everett, Hyndman-Londonderry and Huntingdon libraries.
The libraries encourage patrons to discover the joy and convenience of e-books and e-audiobooks with cloudLibrary. Just download, browse, borrow and start reading.
