ANDY WAYNE CARPER

Andy Wayne Carper, 49, of Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at his home, due to a fall.

A funeral was held on Friday, Jan. 18, at Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church. Pastor Brian L. McCall officiated.

Interment was at Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.

Andy was born on March 19, 1969, in Altoona, son of Daniel Wayne Carper, who preceded him in death on Aug. 6, 2018, and Reida (Whiteman) Carper, who survives.

Surviving are daughter Miranda Carper (Kyle Clerval); daughter Abigail Carper; brother Brian Carper of Hollidaysburg; sister Danyel Carper (Thomas Wareham) of Roaring Spring; sister Melissa Hofer of Cresson; nephews Levi Wareham and Austin Carper; special friend Kathy White and daughter Kylee; and former wife and mother of children, Ellen.

Andy was a 1987 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

He was currently employed by McLanahan Corp., Hollidaysburg, as a field service technician.

He was a member of the Reservoir Bible Church, Hollidaysburg.

Andy enjoyed spending time with his daughters, family and friends.

He also enjoyed farming, fishing, camping and bowling. You could always find Andy making people smile and laugh.
