The Central Pennsylvania Bible Conference will be conducting a One-Day winter session on Saturday, Feb. 2, at The Faith Baptist Church of Altoona.
The speaker will be Dr. Steve Scheibner, an American Airlines pilot whose life God spared when he was bumped from the flight that went into the world trade center on 9/11. Scheibner is a retired pastor who is now the president of Characterhealth Corp., a non-profit conference ministry aimed at equipping parents to train the next generation of character-healthy leaders.
Special music will be provided by Mike and Karen Matieszyn of Last Generation, Somerset.
Jim O’Bryon, former assistant secretary of defense, will serve as conference leader.
The Theme for the day will be “God’s Providence, Provision & His Grand Plan for the Future.”
The schedule for the Bible Conference is as follows:
• Session One: 10 to 11:30 a.m.
• Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Free to all who attend the sessions.)
• Session Two: 1 to 2:30 p.m.
• Break: 2:30 to 3 p.m.
• Session Three: 3 to 4 p.m.
