Ask the Williamsburgers

This past weekend, it was predicted that we brace ourselves for a 30-inch snowstorm; however, that wasn’t the case.

In some areas, it reached a foot but nothing upwards to 30 inches for us, the snow lovers. This got me thinking – what is there to do during a snow day? For me, I stayed inside – cleaned and worked on my college homework.

I decided to ask the residents of Williamsburg – What is your favorite activity for a snow day?

Here is what a few had to say:

Chris Kensinger: Cooking comfort foods for my family

Dan Risbon: Shoveling snow

Maureen England: Not shoveling; just relaxing!

Renee Criswell: Using the snow blower

David Shanholtz: Taking pictures of the snow

Polly Smith: Staying inside

Huston Godwin: Can’t say!

Patty Krajacic: Watching a good movie and cooking; I made homemade soup, strombolis and pizza.

Rick Smith: Plowing

Jill Norris: Sled riding

Bonnie Hammond: Crocheting, now that I got back into it. I didn’t realize how much I missed it over the last two years until I picked up a hook and started making something.

Barry Speacht: Riding my horse.

Sheryl Hart: After the shoveling is done, I like to spend the rest of the day with tea and a good book.

Wendy Martin: Watching my dogs playing in the snow.
