Northern Bedford fought from behind the entire game in dropping a close 44-40 decision at McConnellsburg last Tuesday evening.
The Lady Panthers, trailing by single digits throughout, tied the game at 39-all on two Ariel Reed free throws. McConnellsburg answered with a trey and maintained the lead down the stretch to drop the Lady Panthers to 1-8 overall.
Ariel Reed scored 14 points to pace Northern Bedford and Cam Pressel added 11.
“Girls fought hard throughout the game and played with some good determination. We just werent able to put together a full 32 minutes. We struggled a bit to take care of the ball in some key situations and werent able to overcome it,” according to NB Head Coach Jon Ewart.
