Jason G. and Irene M. Oberholtzer of Roaring Spring are the parents of a son, Derek Lee, born at 6:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at home.

The infant weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches in length at birth.

Derek has five siblings: Christine, 11; Michelle, 9; Emily, 7; Jalisa, 5; and Loriana, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Harry and Isa Martin.

Paternal grandparents are Elmer and Ruth Oberholtzer.

Daniel Z. and Margaret S. Martin of Martinsburg are the parents of a daughter, Melody Martin, born at 3:12 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.

The infant weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 inches in length at birth.

Melody has eight siblings: Adam, 12; Jared, 11; Clayton, 10; Cynthia, 8; Katie Rose, 7; LaWayne, 5; Bethany, 3; and Jaylon, 22 months.

Grandparents are David and Marlene Martin of Roaring Spring and Harry and Ida Martin of Roaring Spring.
