Tussey Mountain jumped out to a 17-7 first-quarter lead en route to a 61-30 thrashing of Northern Bedford last Wednesday evening, Jan. 2, in high school girls’ basketball action.
The visiting Lady Titans held a 37-19 halftime lead against the Lady Panthers and were never challenged in the second half.
“We had difficulty with their pressure defense,” Northern Bedford first-year head coach Jon Ewart said.
Madison Cottle hit for four treys and 14 points to pace the Lady Panthers, now 1-7 overall.
