Lady Bulldogs Win Twice; 7-1 on Season

The Claysburg-Kimmel High School girls’ basketball team is off to a 7-1 start following victories over Mount Union and Marion Center during the past week.

C-K 58, Mount Union 34

At Claysburg-Kimmel on Jan. 4, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 28-14 lead at halftime and cruised to a 58-34 victory over Mount Union. C-K outscored its visitors 30-20 in the second half.

C-K’s Megan Hartman drained five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points. Emily Claar added 10 points in the victory.
