Florida Gov. Appoints Cove Native as Judge

Florida Gov. Rick Scott appointed Attorney Dana Cooper Moss to serve as a Sarasota County Court Judge in Sarasota, Florida, beginning on Thursday, Jan. 3.

Judge-elect Moss is a 1989 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg. She earned a B.A. in political science from Penn State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law.

An official investiture ceremony was held Friday, Jan. 11, in the Sarasota County Administration Chambers, 1660 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota.
