Arlene I. Litzenberger, 89, of Martinsburg, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018.
Viewing and services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Jerry Stern will officiate.
Interment will be made in Royer Cemetery.
Arlene was born on Sept. 4, 1929, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Albert and Thelma (Showalter) Showalter.
She married William H. Litzenberger. He passed away on May 26, 2002.
Arlene is survived by seven children: Ken Litzenberger of New Enterprise, Dorothy Beegle and husband William of East Freedom, Karen Smith and husband Dane of Ore Hill, Debbie Clouse and husband Mike of Martinsburg, Bryan Litzenberger and partner Darren Ruzzi of Altoona, Rick Litzenberger and wife Tammy of Roaring Spring and Mark Litzenberger Sr. and wife Lisa of Woodbury; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Thelma Longenecker of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kerry Litzenberger; and two siblings: Vera Rodgers and Clair Showalter.
Arlene was of the Lutheran faith.
She had previously been employed at the Altoona-Blair County Airport.
She loved animals, flower gardening, and sewing and quilting.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arlene's memory may be given to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
