Faith Assembly Dinner

This past September, Faith Assembly of God Church, Roaring Spring, had a vision to have a Family Meal Night on the last Wednesday night of the month prior to the evening service and Kids Clubs. The goal is to gather families, children and volunteers to fellowship and build relationships outside of a service or classrooms.

In November, Doug Bayard, manager of Texas Roadhouse in Altoona, heard about this family event and contacted the church to help. At the Dec. 19 dinner, 125 of Faith's Family was blessed by Texas Roadhouse with an offering of 100 plain and barbecued chicken breasts along with 150 rolls accompanied with cinnamon butter.

Faith Assembly thanks Bayard and Texas Roadhouse for their kindness at a time of year for giving.
