To the Editor:

I grew up in Roaring Spring, and even though I now live elsewhere, I maintain a strong connection to the community through my family that has resided there for generations. I have recently become aware that the borough council is planning to discontinue funding for the Eldon Inn, which houses the Roaring Spring Community Library, which may result in forcing the library to close. This is unacceptable.
