Kenneth Eugene "Shiney" Zimmerman, 87, of Woodbury, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at his home.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Monday, Dec. 17, at Faith United Methodist Church in Woodbury. Pastor Mick Dawes officiated.
Kenneth was born on Nov. 21, 1931, in Martinsburg, son of the late Jacob and Ida (Brumbaugh) Zimmerman.
He was united in marriage with Dorothy Leone Bulger on Sept. 29, 1951, at the United Methodist Church in Woodbury.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Leone; daughter Jill Stonerook and husband Don of Martinsburg; daughter Beth Morgret and husband Duane of New Enterprise; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Anna Ritchey and Rosalind Bulger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Kline, and brother, Wilbur Zimmerman.
Kenneth served his country as a member of the Army in Korea.
He was employed by Brown Motor Supply in Bedford and later Martinsburg Auto Parts as a salesman.
He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Woodbury, the Roaring Spring Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, the Roaring Spring American Legion and the Martinsburg VFW.
Kenneth enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.
