    A farming accident in North Woodbury Township, Blair County, claimed the life of a 22-year-old man last week. Criserio Alverez Jimenez, of Martinsburg, was working on a farm along Cove Mountain Road on Friday, Aug. 30, when, at approximately 4:40 a.m., a skid loader he was operating drove into a manure pit.     Herald of Aug. 30, 1894 A kitchen attached to the Methodist parsonage in Williamsburg caught fire when the wind blew sparks onto the roof, igniting the structure. The blaze was extinguished by volunteers before any major damage was done to the kitchen or the parsonage. Catharine Irvin, 92, died of old age.     The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on Aug. 15 announced the opening of the second grant program made possible by the recent PA Farm Bill.
