Two Roaring Spring men are awaiting their preliminary hearings after being charged with a third-degree felony of false written statement in the purchase of a firearm. Terry Michael Pronchick, 41 of Roaring Spring, attempted to purchase a firearm at Walmart near Freedom Junction on Feb. 29. Morrisons Cove Memorial Park held its second annual Little Miss Morrisons Cove Pageant on Monday, June 29. There were three competitions: Pre-School (ages 3-5), Junior Miss (kindergarten and grades 1 and 2) and Miss (grades 3, 4 and 5). Chairs were set up with social distancing guidelines.
