Since Pastor Matt Roberts and his family took over the United Methodist Church, plans have been in place for many events. Two of their Easter events were announced last week. A Williamsburg woman is facing charges after police said she repeatedly entered a restricted area at the Blair County Airport on March 6. According to charges filed by State Police at Hollidaysburg, Jessica L. Castro, 35, entered the restricted area multiple times despite being told by an airport employee that she was not allowed in the area. The Blair County Tea Party has a new meeting location. The BCTP will now meet at the American Legion Social Hall off of North Juniata Street in Hollidaysburg, at the entrance of Legion Park (104 Dell Delight Legion Park). During the recent renovations on the courthouse, it was discovered that there were carved stone faces adorning different areas of the exterior of the building. It turns out that there are 55 to 58 heads. Former Blair County Commissioner Terry Tomassetti contacted the Blair County Genealogical Society and asked for their help in identifying the faces.
