The Altoona Area Lyme Disease Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the St. Rose of Lima social hall, 5519 Sixth Ave., Altoona. A man collecting garbage along Ski Gap Road in Greenfield Township was struck by a car at around 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29. According to Greenfield Township Police Chief Ron Sharkey, 43-year-old Roger Musselman, of Duncansville, was collecting garbage along Ski Gap Road when he was struck by a car driven by 69-year-old Jerry Clapper of Claysburg. Borough resident Paula Hamilton was voted onto the Williamsburg Borough Council during the regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 3. Hamilton was chosen by a council vote of 3-2.
