    At the Sept. 3 regular meeting of the Taylor Township supervisors, an update concerning the intersection of Cross Cove Road and Woodbury Pike (Blinking Light) was presented by Greg Geishouser, township engineer. Geishouser reported that PennDOT is to install warning signs before the intersection. Any further precautions would be at the cost of the township.     The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation held a public meeting Wednesday, July 17, at the Roaring Spring Borough Building to introduce residents to the safety study being conducted of Route 36 from the intersection of Interstate 99 to Closson Road in Roaring Spring.     The Taylor Township Supervisors’ July 8 meeting opened to a packed house of concerned citizens. A couple residing on Cemetery Avenue in Roaring Spring attended to ask who owns the road. The residents said upgrades and repairs to the road are not being made and the potholes are becoming dangerous. The road deteriorated tremendously after the construction of the Hunt Club development and all the heavy construction trucks accessing the building site.     The Taylor Township supervisors’ May 6 meeting opened with a resident who is concerned about the township’s plan to vacate Papermill Road. He asked who would maintain and plow the road. Papermill Road has three residents, two private homes and the Roaring Spring Borough Sewer Plant. Taylor solicitor David Pertile explained that the road would remain as is and become a private drive.     Lead Taylor Township road worker Tim Laird told the supervisors on April 1 that the North Woodbury police have asked why there are no speed limit signs on Frederick Road. The residents and businesses are concerned with the speed of traffic on the road, he said.     Trooper John Brown of the Pennsylvania State Police addressed the Taylor Township Board of Supervisors at their monthly meeting on Monday, Feb. 4. Brown explained an officer is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if anyone in the township would need assistance.
