    The Blair County commissioners introduced on Tuesday, Nov. 12, the proposed 2020 budget with a shortfall covered, in part, by a property tax increase. The general fund projections include revenue of $54.89 million with expenses amounting to $56.78 million, leaving a budget deficit of $1.89 million.     In last week’s Blair County election, more than 23,000 voters embraced changes in county and local government. Of the 76,085 total registered voters in Blair County, 31 percent cast a ballot on Nov. 4, based on the unofficial county election information for 2019. Comparing turnout numbers, 5,657 more residents voted in this election than in the last commissioner election cycle in 2015.
