Three adults were displaced after a fire broke out at a home in Greenfield Township last Friday before noon. Roaring Spring Community Library recently installed a new porch, due to the previous one being in bad shape. The work started in the second week of August and took about four weeks to complete the project. “It was deteriorating and you could really tell,” Library Director Michelle McIntyre said. Daniel Longwell, a senior at Central High School and Eagle Scout of Troop 358 in Martinsburg, helped raise money for acoustic panels at the gymnasium at the Morrisons Cove Memorial Park building as part of his eagle scout project.
